Duo ups game for SportPursuit’s online packaging

Duo UK is proud to announce a new partnership with SportPursuit in a move that will see the online sports retailer introduce branded packaging to distribute customer orders for the first time.

Following a competitive tendering process, Duo UK will facilitate SportPursuit's transition from plain to branded packaging, providing a bespoke solution designed to be an extension of the brand, supporting SportPursuit's position as a premium online shopping destination.

From sunglasses to cycles, SportPursuit regularly ship delicate and at times large, complicated packages across the UK and overseas. The new range of outbound postal packaging will include a variety of sizes to ensure items are in properly sized bags, reducing packaging waste and ensuring the customers order is always presented at its best.

SportPursuit is the UK's first members-only private sales website offering deals on quality sports kit to its 750,000 registered users. Bryn Snelson, head of marketing at SportPursuit commented: "As a pure play e-retailer, our packaging is one of the few physical touch points we have with our customers. We aim to provide a premium shopping experience and it seemed an anti-climax for the last step in that journey for the customer to receive their goods in plain, low quality packaging. We were impressed by the calibre of work Duo has done for other high profile retail clients and by working with them our packaging is now in line with our brand positioning. Our members can look forward to receiving goods that look the part and complement the experience received throughout their purchasing journey. What's more, we're now also better able to outreach to potential new members along the way.
