The Return Resolution

For many retail operations, customer service devoted to handling returns are a necessary evil. After all, they can be an enormous drain on revenue. There is the money to be refunded to the customer, plus the cost of repackaging the item, restocking and reselling the returned item.

Leaner, meaner Evian!

Danone has outlined plans to use 50% rPET material content in a new, lighter-weight 1.5l Evian water bottle that will hit shelves in 2011.

As well as improved environmental impacts, Danone has redesigned the structure to make it easier to use and to crush after use - reduce, re-use, recycle!

The new version of the bottle is 11% lighter than the previous bottle, weighing 28.6g rather than 32g. To encourage consumers to continue to recycle and create a 'virtuous cycle' that will continue with other bottles the new bottle will crush length-wise!
