Main Duties include:
We are searching for a blown film extrusion operator to join our extrusion team at our manufacturing site in Manchester. The extrusion department is the first stage in Duo’s manufacturing process and is where the raw material is blended and extruded to form the polythene film for a vast range of applications from mailing bags to technical sheeting.
We are looking for an individual to work as a team to extrude the polythene film and be responsible for feeding the machines, obtaining the raw materials and packing products. The role involves assisting in and maintaining the optimum production speeds of the machines, reduce change overtime and minimise scrap produced.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that wants to work in a fast paced environment. Previous experience is essential and IT literacy is a must. Must have an FLT licence.
The successful candidate will have good time management and organisation skills, works well under pressure and can prioritise effectively to meet time critical deadlines.

We are searching for a conversion machine operator to join our conversion team at our manufacturing site in Manchester. As a Conversion operative your role will be to run various conversion machines to convert the polythene film into the final end packaging product for our customers who include some of the UK’s biggest online retailers. You will follow a job sheet and produce product to the correct specification, ensure that any non conforming products are removed and pack items ready for dispatch.
