Duo UK Finalist at the MEN Business of the Year Awards 2013

Duo UK have been announced as a finalist in the £10m-£25m at the 2013 MEN Business of the Year Awards.

The MEN Business of the Year Awards celebrate the regions companies and business leaders who have demonstrated the drive, foresight and courage to street the most effective course through the stormy economic waters of current times. MEN Media head of business Adam Jupp said on the quality of entry of this years awards, “Arriving at the final shortlists was no easy task, with scores of great entries in all categories. Thanks go to all the judges who have taken part in visits to the entrants and for the businesses themselves for being so accommodating. All finalists have done extremely well to make it this far.”

Duo UK launched in 1988 in Gorton, Manchester with 17 employees, 4 machines, bags full of enthusiasm and passion for packaging. After outstripping growth projections, Duo moved to a purpose built site in Miles Platting, Manchester in 1991 where Duo’s head office still remains today. The Duo team are particularly excited to be announced as a finalist in our anniversary year and winning would be a great way to mark the occasion and the hard work and dedication of the team over the past 25 years.

This year’s awards will take place at Manchester’s Midland Hotel on November 7th – wish us luck!
