Duo UK has partnered with David Roberts Physiotherapy as part of an on-going commitment to the wellbeing of employees. The contract goes above the legal duty of care and is designed to provide a preventative and fast-response restorative therapeutic service for all employees.
Duo UK has partnered with fellow Manchester-based business, David Roberts Physiotherapy as part of an on-going commitment to the wellbeing of employees. The contract is the first of its kind for Duo UK, and is designed to provide a preventative and fast-response restorative therapeutic service for the entire workforce.
The bespoke service offered by David Roberts Physio Workforce Wellbeing programme ensures all of the workforce are assessed by medical professionals and treated immediately, should they sustain injury in or outside of the work place. This programme goes above the legal duty of care.
David Brimelow, managing director of Duo UK commented on the partnership: “We are a family business so although some businesses look to cut back on employee welfare when times are tough, we are committed to looking after our colleagues, whatever the wider economic climate. This is one of the reasons we have such a low staff turnover; we still have many people working here who started with us on day one, 25 years ago.
“As a manufacturing business we recognise employees may encounter more risks, particularly with things like lifting and carrying than might be expected in, say an office based environment. Enlisting the expertise of David Roberts Physio means our team receive fast-track treatment for their injury’s to ensure they’re quickly back to feeling their best.
